FYI, Pacemakers have to be removed before a cremation can take place. Under extreme heat, the pacemaker battery can explode and damage the delicate heat brick inside the retort (which would be bad).

What do they do when the have like metal rids and pins in them?
Those are left in and separated out After the cremation. Then most places collect and ship them off to be recycled
