Re: Dislocated Neck

Poor babies! My 7 year old niece always wants to right up front, but, I can't turn off my passenger side bag. She is tall enough to not use a big kid seat, but, she likes it and I feel good about that.

I'm 5'6" and when I got hit head on, my airbag scraped my nose and chin. A baby could have been suffocated.

Re: Dislocated Neck

I hope the child is OK and they charged the mother with stupidity.

Re: Dislocated Neck

What the saying?

"C2-5 keeps you alive."

Something like that?
I never heard that one! My C4/C5 are herniated from one MVA or another. You can also get this injury being given a piledriver the wrong way.

My other post should have read, "ride up front", not, "right". My fingers go faster than my brain! Stupid keyboard :)

Re: Dislocated Neck

That first pic just makes me want to say "don't move...for the love of all that's holy...don't move".

Good lesson on why sometimes the EMTs should be the only ones to move folks at an accident scene.

Re: Dislocated Neck

Stupid mother! WTF!

Anyone can be a mother these days.
But not everyone is suited for it.

Bastards!
