Dislocated Neck
A 2 year old patient presented following a car accident. The patient was sat on his mother's lap in the front passenger seat at the time of the collision, during which, a front passenger seat airbag was deployed. The image of a lateral c-spine radiograph shows a fractured dislocation of the C2 verterbra.

I think it's both..and by the looks of it very serious injuries..probably surgery to relocate the dislocation..(realign back with the joint)..and then immobilisation..in serious dislocations like that there's probabl nerve damage..
