Diastasis Recti
Diastasis recti (also known as abdominal separation) is commonly defined as a gap of roughly 2.7 cm or greater between the two sides of the rectus abdominis muscle. This condition has no associated morbidity or mortality. It's a condition usually associated with women after giving birth. Last year he went to have his appendix removed at a public hospital. Public health care is free in South Africa, but you have to accept that it probably won't be the best treatment. In his case, a bunch of students picking up some practical experience. Long story short, he got a bit butchered. He's currently looking into ways of getting his ab muscles reattached, but for the time being, this is what he has to live with. Pretty gross, eh? |

I should try and find the video of a body builder that can do this. Oddest thing. Supposedly she has such incredible control of her muscles is the reason why. Now I am thinking THAT is not the reason. |
