most of those people get them cause they decide not to take care of themselves and their diabetis. my co-worker's wife had to have her foot amputated because she wouldn't take her diabetic meds. she got a sore on her foot, and wouldn't take care of it or herself, so she lost her foot.

My friends dad hat to have all of his toes removed because of diabetes.
Its a mean thing to say,but I always giggle because his shoes are all too big now and the toes of the shoes now curl up like elf shoes.
