Re: Diabetes Foot of Elderly Lady Developing Contractures
I know long toe nails are painful, if you wear socks, stockings and/or closed shoes. I would imagine the twisting would be painful, and no, it does not happen over night. I have always taking care of my skin from head to toe and since being diagnosed as a diabetic, I check it even more. I don't want to appear on any diseased/deformities pages. No offense |

Re: Diabetes Foot of Elderly Lady Developing Contractures
Sometimes this kind of thing happens to people who are not poor feeble little unfortunates, but unhealthy because of their own gluttony and laziness. I see them all the time expecting special treatment, buying their junkfoods and cigarette cartons and lotto tickets and bitching bitching bitching, when they brought all of it on themselves. Told by Doctors Stop stuffing your face, stop smoking, etc etc etc but they just keep doing it and costing us all money. Not saying she isnt some poor old unfortunate soul but, when it come to self induced diseases, she could be the same obese bitch that spends 18 minutes picking out her pepporoni sticks and mini Milky Ways and rolling over everyones feet on the way out. |

Re: Diabetes Foot of Elderly Lady Developing Contractures
Actually that is not a "contracture" It's a hammer toe and a bunion. Anyone can get those conditions-they can be hereditary or caused by ill fitting shoes, not always diabetes. Those thick yellowed nails could be caused by a fungus. Little tiny old women can get jacked up feet like that-it is not limited to obese gluttons....(dumbass)
