Depressed Skull Fracture
Below is a depressed skull fracture which caused hemiplegia (paralysis of one half of the body) and aphasia (speech paralysis) due to pressure on the centers for speech and movements in the brain. Patient survived following corrective surgery but suffered irrepairable brain damage.
