Deformed Baby - Treature Collins Syndrome
Born with a deformity Juliana’s diagnosis was unknown for a while- later she was diagnosed with Treature Collins Syndrome. Occurs 1 in every 10,000 she was born with no cheekbones, a sealed eyelid, no nasal passage and almost no upper or lower jawbone.

Re: Deformed Baby - Treature Collins Syndrome
Life is hard. Would be much harder and harsher for these babies when they grow older. Bullying from schoolmates is one of the guaranteed treatment they'll get. That's the fact of life. She didn't ask to be born and keeping them alive is the most selfish thing parents can do. ![]() Seriously, what she'll do when she's matured and both her parents dead? Find a nice guy to marry so that he'll take care of her? There's a reason why other mammals left their defected babies behind to die, some even kill their babies quick and painlessly That may sound cruel and heartless, but it's the opposite, I actually sympathize for the baby. |

Re: Deformed Baby - Treature Collins Syndrome
I concur. They knew she had birth defects almost half way through but still carried it to term. There is also the fact that any child with special needs, no matter how much cash the family contributes, will be dependent on the state at one level or another for the rest of their lives.
