Re: Deformed Baby Pig
I don't know what it says about me that I can look at deformed human babies all day long and not feel the twinge of sadness I feel when I see a deformed (or tortured or killed) animal. I've always disliked eating pig in any form. I wonder if it is because subconsciously I noted their similarity to humans, as noted up thread. Ugh! |

Re: Deformed Baby Pig
Not I.... That's just a new shape of bacon to me... As for human tasting like pork? It sure as heck doesn't smell like it when it burns... My burning flesh smelled like burning eggs in a frying pan...atleast to me...bright hot steel applied to shoulder with pressure..softball sized 3rd degree burn... (May have been some 4th..was charred in spots..) 3 days later peeled off like bacon with a thick layer of green slough.. (Puke smiley here please.) Was itchy..started scratching, noticed a hunk of shoulder move..peeled it off.. cleaned it, went to work. |

Re: Deformed Baby Pig
Aww that baby pig makes me sad :( It largely depends on your diet, though. I once read an article about cannibalism in african tribes, and from what I understood the people from the tribe said that local people tasted more like veal and people from Europe/US tasted more like pig - which would be logical since our diets are generally more omnivorous (like pigs). |
