The nice thing about having one of these on your back is that you can't see what the doc is doing while he takes it out. I once had a much smaller cyst removed from more or less the same part of my back. I'd known about it for some time, but after a girlfriend gave me a hug, "discovered" it, and screamed, I decided I'd be better off without it. The whole process was quite painless, but as I said, I'm glad I didn't I didn't have to watch. I do recall the doc pushing and squeezing, then dumping something in a tray, then continuing the process. Perhaps there was more crap in there than I want to know.
