Re: Cutis Laxa - Inelastic Skin
Two unrelated patients of different sexes are described, both presenting with congenital redundant skin (cutis laxa), growth deficiency, mental retardation and bone dystrophy NOTICE IT SAYS 2 UNRELATED PATIENTS (yet both of their parents have a lot in common... in fact a little two much in common. this is why second cousins are referred to as "kissing cousins". there is enough distance between them that they can legally marry and reproduce normal children. Clinical Reports Patient 1 A male, born at term after an uneventful pregnancy and delivery, is the only child of healthy, young first-cousin parents of Portuguese, Afro-Brazilian and Amerindian ancestry. Patient 2 A female, the 2nd child of first-cousin parents of Portuguese, Afro-Brazilian and Amerindian ancestry i am only posting the boys picture (patient 1) the caption says "patient 1 at 10 years of age" this is from http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?scri...72005000200001 · · |
