Re: Cuterebra Larvae Removal From a Mouse

I'm curious to know why it took the owner of that great dane so long to take it to the vet and have those removed. There had to be at least a couple of hundred larvae they removed. What grosses me out more than the number of larvae is the idea that all of those vets removed them bare handed.
If you listen closely, when the dogs owner refuses to help the lady get them out, the vet says, oh, you won't get sick, just wash your hands afterwards, you'll be fine!
Still, for me? I would be wearing gloves, no question about it. But I've watched all of his videos and every single one, she never wears gloves!

Me, too! I try to control where I get my germs! I want them for something pleasurable.

I am guessing the owner was just an asshole letting the dog suffer so long.

The doctor should have put some in his lunch. Hee hee hee!

Yeah, the worms come from the dogs laying in sand. But my God, any pet owner with eyes would've seen it when it started out, and not let it get so bad!

That vet is really good though, if he thinks the pet owners are mistreating the animals he will force them to sell the pet to him. I saw one video where the THIRD time the dog came back infested with mango worms, he was just like no, no, I told him last time what would happen if the dog got worms again. He's a good man.

I can't stand negligent pet owners!

Same here! I can't look at hurt/dead animals. Humans don't bother me.
Same here. Animals have an innocence that tugs at my heart.

Poor mouse. I hope they fed the piece of shit alive to it for its tea, and as an act of revenge.

Fuck me they didn't half bugger about with that mouse. Grasp the base of the tail and get on with it! Surprised the poor thing didn't die of a heart attack
