Not only are they nuts, they are idiots too... Jesus didn't have nails in the palms of his hands they would have been high on the wrist between the two forearm bones. But most religious people can't be bothered with facts or accurate info... Stupid Sheep |

Jesus had nails through his wrists...not palms and his feet were nailed while one laying on top the other so that he would have to support himself using his back muscles. The misconception that it was through the palms is all too often.

you are right,, nail is driven between ulna and radius (this complements the prophecy that no bones will get broken). condemned also ride on a makeshift saddle to prolong pain and death (which renders the body weight argument null). but the whole nascar crowd doesn't make them idiots for racing cars when clearly the automobile was invented for the purpose of transportation? i agree with you, they are nuts, and nuts they are but not idiots. |

this is exactly why i do not persue christianity... or any religion for that matter. religion can make people do things that are fucking insane, hence nailing themselves to a cross to reanact the crucification of jesus christ.  |

Yeah, I would say I can agree w the "poser' comment, as I know that The Lord is totally against any of His children to enflict pain on themselves, that's of the devil.. Jesus was nailed to the cross so we wouldn't have to be. Just as Jesus said on the cross, "IT IS FINISHED." Amen. Thank you, Jesus. For living the life I could never live, and dying the death that I deserved. God loves us, so we are called to love ourselves, and the body is the temple of His Holy Spirit, it is sin, what these people are doing. lol... geez!! They are destroying the temple..
