Re: Creepy Looking baby was born
Agreed! I think a more feasible explanation to the elongated limbs is that there is a possibility of one or more factors besides the Anencephaly or missing brain.... Just my thoughts, but I'd think that it'd likely be one or more of these below factors: (a) Marfans Syndrome (This is just a broad overview of long limbs, Arms, Legs, etc) (b) Marfans Acromegaly (Think Matthew McGrory - The Giant in the movie Big Fish or.... Tiny in House of 1000 Corpses) c)Marfans Macrodactyly (an uncommon condition in which a baby's toes or fingers are abnormally large due to the overgrowth of the underlying bone and soft tissue) Gigantism something like a leg, foot, or of maybe just a finger or hand. d) Marfans Arachnodactyly (is a medical condition which is characterized by fingers & toes that are abnormally long & slender, in comparison to the palm of the hand & arch of the foot. Sometimes called Spider fingers/ or toes. In some cases, the thumbs of an individual with the condition are pulled inwards towards the palm) Then: ** Consider that the baby was pulled out dead, feet first. That means that the body has no rigor & no tightness...since you can clearly see signs of skin slippage & decomp. By pulling it out with feet first, with the above factors in place (Anencephaly, causing a small flat head & torso)....the kid would've easily straightened out more, causing the effect of elongated limbs to really stand out. I think we're used to seeing live infants balled up in a fetal position. This is why I think the babe looks so odd. Just my food for thought, anyway. |
