Info with pics: This is from an accident I had in September 2011. I was driving home from work after midnight in South Dakota and hit a horse in the road going about 65 mph. My car was totaled and I had an open compound fracture to both my left radius and ulna, boxers fracture to my right hand, and a concussion. I don't remember a lot of what happened but was told by my coworkers who got on scene that I was laying in the road at the back of my car. I only remember my head ringing, chest hurting, and I couldn't hear anything. The top on my car was pushed all the way to my chest and the airbag had deployed. I was wearing my seatbelt. I had to slide out sideways from my car and I remember falling to the ground and then an officer who happened to be driving by found me laying in the road. He knew I worked for the ambulance service as an EMT and was freaking out and asking me to tell him what to do to help me, and then I blacked out waking up in the hospital.
