Compilation-Natural Freaks (Slideshow)
Another slideshow I put together. Info. During 1890, one of the most common diseases in Utrecht (Netherlands) was the goiter. Goitre, Latin struma, is the enlargement of the thyroid gland. It is translated externally by a tumor in the anterior lower neck just below the larynx. This disease was portrayed by the University of Utrecht, one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Europe. In a series of portraits, the photographer Paul Kooiker showed medical records in his book Utrechtse Krop. These photographs show the atrocity of the diseases of the time and the beauty of the photographic composition. I'm sooo sorry about the music but I really didn't know what else I could use lol. If it offends anybody, Just say and I'll change it... |

Re: Compilation-Natural Freaks (Slideshow)
Very nice and the music is a good fit To get like that something must have gone terribly wrong during development. |
