Re: Coloured MRI Of Head And Neck

Odd you posted this..

2 reasons,

First, I was supposed to go for this same exact MRI...my insurance is sending me to physical therapy for 6 weeks first in hopes they can "Make me better" and not need the MRI...cheap bastards..

Second, reason I need the MRI.
I had a neck injury when I was 12 years old (1992). and everything was fine after awhile...
Last year, I had Carpal tunnel release surgery on both wrists and Cubital tunnel release surgery on my left elbow..
About 2-3 months ago all of my symptoms of carpal tunnel returned.. and was worse than the first time.. in addition to pain in wrist/hands and numbness in hands.. my hands lock up causing a lot of pain, pain radiating up to my neck/shoulder area, neck pain..etc..

Doc sent me for blood work to rule out arthritis, X-rays of my cervical spine, and the MRI which I got shot down on.. (But..I'll still get the MRI done..Need to know wtf is wrong with my neck...)

How awful for you, I'm sorry to hear of your chronic pain. One of the worst conditions to live with (I suffer from fibromyalgia and femoral nerve damage).

In a twisted sort of way, I hope your MRI reveals a cause that can be treated, you know? When they come back normal yet you have a persistent problem, it's then try this, try that - sooooo frustrating

I wish you all the very best
