That's what killed my grandad as he was a coal miner in Polkemmet Colliery, Scotland (now demolished). I still really miss him  |

It was a terribly common disease in the North West & the North East of England when the Coal Mines where still running. Good old Maggie T put the nail in the last of them though leaving 10's of thousands of men sick and the families in poverty, whole towns on the dole...sad times in deed. |

My Girlfriend's dad has this.. Black lung, He gets a check for it every month from the state... (Coal Country in Pennsylvania..) |
