It does seem the odds are stacked in the favour of those ill equipped with the morals or compassion required to be a good parent; money isnt an issue here, the poorest families find ways to manage and many of their kids are respectful, well mannered, humble and grateful kids and grow up to be good, law-abiding and kind adults; maybe because theyve had nothing as kids, when they have a windfall, the urge is to share it, to try to improve the lives of others who may have had similar/same upbringing as themselves. I really do feel for people like LadyCPlum, who would make fab parents as they have a lot of love to offer a child, seems so unfair. Maybe thats the only reason humans were put here, simply to perpetuate the species and nothing more  |
