Chinese Footbinding
I am absolutely fascinated by this awful custom, because it wasn't done in order to torture. It was considered something that girls just need to do to be pretty, and as normal as having a haircut or wearing a bra for example. Footbinding continued long enough for there to be some women alive today who still have bound feet. Seeing these full colour photos makes me disgusted to think that this was actually a sexual fetish for some men. They liked to LICK and SUCK bound feet.
