Re: Chicken Bone Stuck In The Throat

you would be surprised how many times this happens....I have looked after heaps of people who have had to go and have an Endoscopy to remove a foreign body in the throat. 9/10 its a piece of meat. I had this old chicky once in her 90's who swallowed all her tablets at once and well they all got stuck in her throat, they were removed sucessfully...
I do that every day!! I am NOT 90, but I swallow A whole handful of my med's 1st thing in the morn., I guess I will STOP doing it that way!!

Re: Chicken Bone Stuck In The Throat

I am alway's scared of choking on my food, but I don't chew on bones in the 1st place! I don't give my DOG chicken bones because they splinter too easy!!
Don't give dogs any bones - so I was told! Splintering is a huge risk. Think fresh cow bones are safe
