Chemical Burn: Partial-Thickness Degreaser Burn on Skin of Foot
A chemical burn is tissue injury caused by contact with a chemical such as a strong acid or strong alkali. Tissue damage may continue to deepen for several hours after exposure. Partial-thickness burns extend into the dermis. Superficial partial-thickness burns reach its upper layer, while deep partial-thickness burns reach deeper tissue and can take 2 weeks or longer to heal. Initial treatment for acid and alkali burns uses copious water irrigation for at least 20 minutes.  ·  · |

 according to him, Im skeptical cuz i dont know shit about degreasers, but he was haulin ass from the garage tearing his boots off and yelling so any ideas on what chemical it could have been?

Thank You!!  I have a 17 yr old, a 14 yr old that are mine, plus a 4 yr old and 8 yr old (foster kids) i care for..... amazing I dont have a ton of pics up here lolno, he has a huge rip in the crease by the toes and it dumped in and im guessing thats what he used but it seems extensive for degreaser so im wondering if there is something more potent that he got in to and wont tell me  |

From what I just read about degreasers (what kind?) that is about the kind of burn you would get or much worse. Drano is lethal. My husband is a plumber. He has to ask people, before he starts cleaning their drains, if they have used Drano. That shit comes back up will give you serious burns. You are a busy busy woman!! Foster children....I bow to you, baby girl. |

THANK YOU MATTI!!!  its a professional grade, im waiting to find out from the shop he got it from what kind.... he works in a mechanics shop an they sent him home with something to get the grease and crud off our garage floor with, AND in an unlabeled bottle  |

 he will be fine as long as he listens to mama lol thank you.... i just wanted ppl to see how fast it can happen, and you never know what the hell will do it anymore! Not many ppl carry around an MSDS book lol |
it had skin contact for less than 15 minutes with and industrial strength degreaser.... it was fast!!!
