one of my moms ears almost ripped like that, but it was because when she was younger she got in a fight with her dad (my grandpa) and he ripped her earring out. I didn't rip all the way just a bit though

Oh, I have a couple of these in my left helix... But I did it myself. Though they're very small, since they "popped" out just a week or so after I did them.

All this tragedy could have been avoided if the wearers had just kept from getting into drunken fights. I don't care how thin the area is, it still takes an idiot to tear their ear up in this manner. Especially over and over!
