So sorry to hear that. I hope things go well for you. I am chronically sick and severely disabled but every day I count my blessings - no matter how small - because there is always someone worse off than me. My thoughts are with you and all the other incredibly brave people who are fighting cancer.

I have non classical Hodgkins lymphoma went through different types of chemo 3 different ones to be exact and today they harvested stem cells from me then they clean them and freeze them and next month they put them back in after I have another round of chemo (6 days straight). Without going into extreme details I'll tell you I've been hospitalized twice and fucking hated it lol. Had 6 covid 19 tests with 3 more to go down the road, bone marrow biopsy, lymph node biopsy. autologous which means I'm getting my own stem cells back instead of getting them from another person. One good thing about having this central line which it looks intimidating and can be annoying when showering or sleeping if you sleep on your stomach you'll have to learn to sleep on your back, but I'm soooooo glad I dont get stuck in my arms for labs or anything anymore. I dont have any pain just minor soreness from the procedure which I was fully awake and conscious for which was kinda freaky. |
