Cement Burns
Cement Burns occur when skin comes into contact with wet cement. Although the dry cement is not harmful, added water increases the pH of the mixture and creates calcium hydroxide, which is responsible for burns to the skin alkaline.

Some Italian fellows must be VERY upset with him. Concrete shoes weren't enough; They had to give him concrete thigh boots.
