One type of cancer unknown by many people, is cancer in or around the jawbone.

Here are the pictures.

#6, 7 and 8 is a man who felt nothing until he got problems with speaking. By that time the cancer was already spread to his larynx and surgeons had to cut away a large part out of his neck.
The surgeons used skin from his chest to fill up the gap.

Note: #5 is not the man from #6, 7 and 8.

Cancer is a nasty disease. My Uncle passed away of throat cancer and never had any symptoms other then a sore throat until it was too late.

Hey guys remeber those images the next time you go to dip some chew.
I have worked in the cancer side of the medical field for 26 years and I have seen many patients just like these folks.
It can happen to you as well.
Don't smoke or chew it will kill you.

Cancer is so awful. But I think cancer like this gets looked over in comparison to the more talked about ones, like breast cancer, prostate cancer, leukemia, etc. I would hate for that to happen to me. No smoking or chewing here.
