Caliber the Horse Kicked by Another Horse While in Boarding.
My cousin's dear departed horse Caliber that was kicked by another horse while she had her two horses in boarding. She had Caliber for over twenty-five years. She had him cremated.

Horses hind legs supposedly have the same strength behind them as a motor vehicle driving around 20mph.

That horse had to suffer for a long long time because a kick is not going to produce that big of a wound. Animal abuse
