I drained a fryer out onto my foot when I was new to restaurant work. got my shoe off before it soaked through.
8 years later, witnessed a co-worker dump a large stock pot of boiling water on his foot, he spent a week in the hospital.

Hope it heals up quick and the pain is managed well.

Glad you are getting better, burns are so beyond painful. Used to be that Vitamin E oil helps to reduce the presence of scaring in burns, cuts, etc. Just something to think about.
