Cameroon, West Africa - Tatiana is 13 and lives hidden in a small rural village with her grandmother. At age 5, was the victim of a pot of boiling water, which when falling on it, burned all over her face and large parts of your body. She received no medical attention, and it was a miracle that she survived.
She is very lonely, and is not allowed to go to school because it scares the other kids. Besides her medical problems are enormous. However she has a very strong spirit, and impresses everyone by showing vitality where all expect to find depression, sadness and death.

My little brother was burned by boiling water when he was young. Luckily it only affected the back of his neck, and his back. It's a pretty cool looking scar.

"She received no medical attention"....that chills you to the bone....Imagine the pain she went through...for months I would imagine?! I expect it's far too late to do anything for her now she's healed.
