There was special needs man(probably about 30) in my neighborhood when I was a kid. He had the mind of a child and would ride his beach cruiser around the neighborhood with his large studio head phones singing along with his walkman. Sometimes he would stop and say hi to us kids. One day he didn't come around. We found out later that some guys had beat him unconscious and threw him off of an overpass onto the free way.
