Kind of: The first problem is recognizing it for what it is; most spider bites hurt, get red, and itch. This differs in that it forms a real blister, you may get nausea, and the time periods are extended. Going to a real doc (not your local urgent care) will help, they can possibly drain some of it if its swollen, but there's no sure-fire way of getting ALL the venom out & there's no antidote yet. The main thing they can do is PREVENT INFECTION of the site - which sometimes causes as much damage as the venom does. Them (or you) cleaning it out, keeping it clean, and maybe popping some Cipro for 10 days should keep you from needing a skin graft type wound. You're def gonna lose some skin & have a scar, hopefully very small.
