My brother has broken his jaw twice. Not very nice! The bit that made me cringe was it took them about 3 days before they operated on him an they had to take an impression of his teeth ect but he doesn't like his needles so he wouldnt let them numb it before they did it so they just had open his mouth without numbing FUCKIN OWWWWWWWWWWWW!

I have 2 plates in my jaw with about 8 or 10 screws (can't remember the exact amount). You can't see or feel the plates or screws from the outside. The only thing visible is the scars where they had to operate.

this was so hard to look at...anything jaw related makes me queasy, having been in an ER 3 times due dislocating my jaw and tearing the ligaments. It was total hell!  |
