Breast Lump
Her words: Nothing really graphic but maybe someone would like to look! Lol. I'll post in comments if I'm approved. Ladies, and yes gentlemen.. Please take your body seriously when you find something not right.. I had surgery yesterday for a breast lump that has been growing since I stopped breast feeding in March.. It grew to a huge baseball size before any damn doctor would take me seriously.. It was very hot, red skinned, started to peel my nipple itself turned inverted, my nipple even popped one time letting blood.. I feel sick all the time. And I just kept getting told to do massage, heating pad and of course antibiotics oh it will go away! It didn't. So when I can take the patches off I'll post more pictures.. I won't even find out till next month what it was inside of me as they are biopsy it. The second picture is actually the last. |

Re: Breast Lump
Yeah, I mean even the symptoms told by the patient warrant an Ultrasound itself... Textbook symptoms for breast cancer I'd sue the doctors if possible |

Re: Breast Lump
This is beyond a “lazy doctor”. This is an incompetent doctor. Any woman that tells me they felt a lump in her breast gets a breast exam, no question about it (unless she declines it). Even if she declines it I order an US and/or mammogram. The initial imaging modality of choice depends on the patient’s age.
