The young F.B.N., 23, suffered a serious motorcycle accident on the 6th and died on the 24th of December 2021.
Mr. 'R' and Mrs. I.B.N., who are 'F's parents, suffer a lot from the loss of their son, who still fought for 18 days against death.
Despite all the pain they are feeling, the couple is not silent and is denouncing doctors and nurses.
'F' was hospitalized at Dr. João Lúcio Hospital and Emergency Room and despite the seriousness of his health, he could have survived if he had been treated as a human being.
This is the way of thinking of 'R' and his wife 'I', who denounce negligence, irresponsibility, omission and even acts of complete inhumanity, especially by nurses.The parents of the young man who died denounced that the child was left with his diapers dirty with faeces and urine, without his medication and in total abandonment.
It was the parents who had to clean him and take care of all his hygiene after complaining to the nurses, by whom they were never seen.
According to 'R', the injured son even surprised the doctors themselves with his general health status considered stable on the day he left the polytrauma sector for the ICU.
The bereaved mother also denounces that 'F' began to walk towards his death when Dr. 'A' ordered the young man to be transferred to Infirmary 1.
To start with there is only one nurse or nurse to attend to 25 patients in serious conditions in the vast majority of cases.
“This deficiency in the staff, combined with ill will, inhumanity and lack of respect, only makes patients even more sick”, denounces 'I'.
The father said that the son was transferred from the ICU to Infirmary 1 without even having the feeding tube and when he arrived at the hospital he found 'F' in an almost total state of abandonment.
“My son was defecated, wet with urine all the way to his back and when I went to ask the nurse to clean him up, she shouted that this was an obligation of the family”, denounces the father who is asking for justice.
A nurse even confirmed to 'F's parents that at the HPS Dr. João Lúcio “it's just like that. A team on duty is transferred to the other shift, the patients are dirty and even without the medication applied at the right time”.
The couple who lost their child are still looking for an explanation for his death, after several cardiac arrests, until he died.
The fact is that 'F' was recovering well, despite the negligence, omission and disrespect of nurses towards patients.
One of the doctors had already scheduled the surgery and ordered all the preoperative tests to be done, precisely because 'F' was recovering well and quickly.
On the 24th, Christmas Eve, the couple was surprised by a phone call from the direction of Dr. João Lúcio Hospital and Emergency Room, informing them that the young man had died.
Now that three days have passed since 'F's death, his parents, even bereaved, are outraged at the terrible treatment given to him in Infirmary 1 and are denouncing everything.
The father 'R' recorded several videos showing the terrible treatment and the conditions of abandonment and suffering in which patients are left in that sector of the aforementioned hospital unit.
