The convict J.V.d.S., was arrested early this Saturday afternoon (02) for trying to kill his wife in a residence on Rua Winifred Willes, Lagoinha neighborhood, in the east zone of Porto Velho (RO).

The accused, under the influence of drugs, allegedly attacked his wife with a knife to the head, arms, shoulder and neck. The victim in serious condition was taken to João Paulo II hospital.

The accused was arrested when he sought medical help at the UPA. He had a cut on his hand caused when he attacked his wife. He claims that the crime was committed out of passion.

According to the police, J.V.d.S. had already killed another wife in 2015 in the same location. He was wearing an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet, but it had recently been torn off.
