It's a scary, sad disease yet it's so amazing at the same time. The effects of this disease take over and the sickness it causes is almost instant once diagnosed. So awful.

Alzheimers is one of the worst diseases. They need to just euthanize people before they get like this.

On another note, doesn't it look kind of yummy? It cut into such a nice slice you could fry it up and have a human brain steak. Season it and have a bloomin onion on the side. YUM

as far as i remember, there is a large resemblance between these brains and the brains of schizophrenics

That's actually part of what happens with this disease. I've spent countless hours studying it. Quite curious.
and it is, indeed, very sad. My grandmother died after a long battle with alzheimer's.

Now sometimes he doesn't know who I am, or he thinks we're back in Detroit in his high school. Throughout it all, he has remained the most gentle, caring, loving man he always was. That's what Alzheimer's patients are really, just like babies. And that's how you care for them--he loves to be tucked in bed at night.

It is sad, but it is almost over now. They say one more stroke will most likely kill him. Then the pain and confusion will be over, and he can rejoin his loved ones in Heaven. His parents, his brother and sister. My son will finally meet his grandfather. There will be no more pain, or confusion, or worries. He will be young again and live with his brother he hasn't seen for 70 years, and his sister whom he hasn't seen in over 30 years. I love you so much, dad, and I will miss you more than I can say, but on that day, I will also be so happy just knowing that you're healthy and happy again. And then I will see you again, soon.

God, that made me cry. It is good you see the "bright" side. Take care.

My grandpa has this disease. I don't know which stage is it on though. He tells same stories and asks same questions about 5 times in 20 minutes. It is sad how he does not always remember me.
