Elephantiasis. Usually caused by parasites in countries with poor drinking water.

Looks like legs and feet with the onset of it appearing in his arms and hands. Hopefully he goes through the treatments and it cures him!  |

The parasites cause the lymphedema(lymphatic obstruction) It's called Elephantiasis when it's progressed to a hardened, deformed stage(yuck!) Watching "My 600lb Life", I noticed almost all of the people on the show have different stages of this. It seems that your body can only hold so much extra fat, before it starts blocking the lymph nodes and causing retention and such. |
