Re: Bori General Hospital, Africa

Many infectious diseases, neoplastic that exist in Africa, with poverty that exists. It must be difficult for doctors to treat neurofibromatosis, lymphoma and even HIV that affect so many Africans. HIV is a lot of cases you see in the pictures because this causes the body's defenses down and allow it to develop these diseases and health conditions deplorable living in Africa

yes it does. because even without health insurance, you can be seen in an emergency room in a pinch.

Severe burns in an epilectic? Was that the treatment or did he/she get burned during an episode? Unfortunately, I'm thinking the first scenerio!

Re: Bori General Hospital, Africa

And living in Canada (I'm not trying to stir anything up) we are so blessed with abundant free health care (at least in Alberta where I live). I spent the night in the ER a week ago and as I lay patiently waiting to see a Dr., which took a small handful of hours, I listened to whiney, ungrateful people stating how bad our healthcare system is ...these are the people waiting WITH the sick people, these are the people getting fed by the hospital while they wait their few hours. Gawd how I wanted to punch some people in the sides of their heads that night.
Makes me glad I live in the US.
