All joking aside, I dropped some welding slag between two toes a few years back, when wearing sandals in my workshop.

The resultant burn was FUCKING AGONY. It refused to heal, it went all wet and soggy and throbbed. Every time I walked it moved the toes and opened the burn up again. It took weeks to heal, this little burn the side of a raisin.

If that was a fraction of what a serious burn victim feels, then I’ll be asking for a bullet when it is my turn.
