they brought him to Children's and they treated him and everything was a okay. He developed a fever on Tuesday and, although Leslie didn't want to leave the hospital, the doctors told her it was nothing and he was fine...That it was probably just a virus..Early Wednesday morning he started wheezing, so Leslie and Larry rushed him back in the ER. His little body went into shock...it was a serious infection, that went undiagnosed. Our hearts our hurting more than I can possibly describe and life will never be the same. Please hug your babies a little tighter today..please continue pray for our dear Tripp. Thank you.
Damn sad - so sorry. Best wishes.

Be careful of hospitals. The husband of writer Joyce Carol Oates went in for something else, about to be discharged, and she got a call to come see him because he was dying a few hours later of something he caught in the hospital. Same with Christopher Hitchens; went through horrible cancer treatments, got thinking he might live a while after all, but while he was in the hospital caught something else and BAM!

The more I see, the more I am happy about my decision to stay away from doctors and medicine. It's kept me healthy, I think. So many misdiagnoses, misinformation, and horrible screwups. The blatting TV in the waiting room is only the first bummer

They couldn't have known, they brought Tripp in for a burn, at the time he wasn't exhibiting any signs that were cause for alarm.....
