In parts of South Africa, it is common to see people with pet hyenas and pets of beastly nature. When I lived in Pretoria, S.Africa in 1996...a good friend of mine was attacked by a group of babboons...and they damn near severed his nose too. That footage could've ended up on this site!!

Oh my god, that's just wrong! Hyena's and baboons on chains, as pets! Wow. Do many of those people who have them as pets get attacked? I know baboons can be very aggressive.
