Re: Birthing Pool Family Photo
So when u have some bloody shit filled kiddy pool in ur living room how the fuck do u empty it?? Scoop buckets into the toilet or tub? Electric pump/siphon maybe? What a ridiculous thing to do... like Scientologists giving their silent births. |

It's some new age shit. Like the made up Scientology shit. Silent birth, pfft. I'm sure the little sucker wouldn't remember screaming and shit at two seconds old. Disrupt the shit out of their environment!

Re: Birthing Pool Family Photo
It's different when you have an emotional connection. I can't stand the sight/smell/sound of vomiting. I don't throw up. Haven't thrown up in over 20 years. When my daughter is sick I don't think twice about cleaning up vomit, poop, pee, etc. It's not disgusting. I think water birth is weird but they would be in the exact same position if they were in a hospital bed. The husband/dad will usually sit behind the mom to support her upper body. It's helps the baby drop into position and makes it easier to push. |

Re: Birthing Pool Family Photo
That birthing method is actually kinda old...I think it's called LeBoyer Method. It is said that the woman's labor and birth pain in lessened in the warm water, and the baby is also delivered into warm water, where he just got violently squished out of, so the process is made less sudden. But yeah, soaking in a pool of blood, poop, amniotic fluid is kinda yucky, I'd guess. But then agian nothing about sex and birthing is really very clean.
