It looks like the umbilical cord ripped/disconnected when the kid hit the ground. Jeezum, Lady - I have no problem with you birthing out in the fresh air, but if you're not gonna catch the kid, at least have someone else do it. |

I didn't read any comments.. see the head, see the mouth move, and think to myself.. ok..anyone got a catcher's mitt? And BAM! right on the frickin ground... cord ripped and all... If I could, I would reach into my monitor and smack that lady... |

Same. I was with her until they just let the baby drop and the cord rip. Until the baby's lungs are clear and working, it's still getting oxygen via the cord. Plus it's so beneficial to let it continue to pump blood to the baby until it stops if it's own accord. Crazy fuckers |
