Re: Birth Defects and Eugenics

Eugenics is a good idea that has been tarnished by bad people.

Breed the best with the best in order to advance the human race.
Friedrich Nietzsche had it right with his theory of the Übermensch (Overman or Above-Human).

Re: Birth Defects and Eugenics

Eugenics is a bad idea that is made all that more apparent by bad people. Selective breeding makes a species weaker, not stronger. It's our diversity in genetics that has made us a stronger, more resilient species.

How does breeding those with the best genetics hurt the race as a whole? That promotes diversity in a good way. Your comment makes no sense.

Really? You didn't answer my question. Improving the gene pool by selective breeding works. Just look in nature. Weak and deformed animals in the wild are generally ostracized by the others and not permitted to breed. Look at the reputable dog and cat breeders who do the same thing to improve the health of their animals.

I didn't ask you to "dumb it down". I asked you to explain your illogical statement.
