Pic #3 is what's known as "harlequin baby". They all have that alien appearance, but most don't survive long after birth.

The Thing with no arms or head is an acardius. This monstrosity is always accompanied by a normal -or at least functional- twin to pump blood for it. It never formed a heart and became a blighted monster with no internal organs. Some are just heads with no apparent bodies. Some are just jumbled tissue. The normal twin may die of heart failure due to having to pump blood for both the monster and itself.

Only by thrombosing or otherwise stopping blood flow into the monster, thus causing it to degenerate, can the normal twin be given a fighting chance to live to term. There are several ways to do this.
