anybody know what this is called? poor thing. i always feel bad for babies with birth defects. they don't get a chance at life.  · |

anophthalmia is the condition of being born without eyes but this is far more than that.

i know that being near/ingesting a large amount of vitamin A while pregnant can cause the baby deformities including being born without eyes
