Transfemoral = across the femur (thigh bone).

The bad thing about diabetes after you get an amputation is that, if your stumps are irritated by the prosthetic limbs, they can develop diabetic ulcers.

Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Well, maybe I would.

Ok, well the amputations are awful but seriously, for some reason, it was the catheter that makes me go "OWWWWWWW" UGH.
I do hope the guy recovers and is able to cope. Diabetes sucks. So do catheters.
