A Young female in her late teens presented with swelling in right breast that had occurred over the past 8 months.
On examination it was found that there was a large solitary mobile and painless swelling involving within the entire right breast.
The other breast also had two small swellings so it was decided she would undergo surgical removal. It was found that the female had Fibroadenoma.

Fibroadenoma is the most common benign tumor of the breast and the most common breast tumor in women under age 30.

A fibroadenoma is made up of breast gland tissue and tissue that helps support the breast gland tissue.

Black women tend to develop fibroadenomas more often and at an earlier age than white women. The cause of fibroadenomas is not known.

Yes both breasts had drains in them and the pictures are not flipped. She had both breasts worked on.
