Maybe some reptile experts could have a positive ID. It looks like the markings of a python but that is some serious bite size. Look at how far the mouth is open. If it was a python or constrictor he will survive if it didn't get his jugular but if it was poisonous he is lying with the snakes now. |

That is a Burmese python and the bite is not a big deal. Definitely not life threatening. That is still a baby and no older than a year or two.
