Balanitis Pictures and Balanitis Images: Several Forms
Balanitis is inflammation of the glans, or head of the penis. When the foreskin is also inflamed, the condition is called balanoposthitis. It is more common in uncircumcised men and can be associated with uncontrolled diabetes, obesity and certain drugs. Candida is the most common infectious cause, followed by bacteria. Noninfectious causes include psoriasis, contact dermatitis, lichen sclerosus and reactions to medication. Circinate balanitis is a form associated with reactive arthritis. Treatment depends on the cause and may include topical antifungal medicines or corticosteroids. Most people recover fully, although complications can include tightening of the foreskin or trapping of the retracted foreskin behind the glans.     |

A condition more common in uncircumcised men. You don't have to neuter your boys, just give em a little snip  . two weeks and you're better than these lads

the circumcised don't collect smegma [easily] and are less prone to infections in that region. But yes, poor hygiene and lack of a penile owner's manual are the main reasons for this largely bacterial infection. |
